Just For Fun

Simply wonderful  -  It's understood that human activities adapt to Nature's needs. The pace is unhurried, the pleasures, simple and satisfying. Walking is the best way to see and savor everything; for exploring by car, motor scooters or bicycle, three roads cross the island east to west. However you travel and everywhere you go, day or night, you'll be safe on crime-free Cayman Brac.

Learn at the Brac Museum  -  On the north coast at Stake Bay - seafaring gear, domestic artifacts, documents and photographs chronicle island history. Open weekdays and Saturday mornings.

Relax at the Community Park  -  A picnic area, playground and nature trail at West End.

Bask on the Public Beach  -  Public by name but 180 degrees from Atlantic City. A classic stretch of white sand, on the south shore. Or if you want to dive in to the crystal clear waters surrounding the white sands, don't hesitate to explore what's underneath!

Pay no entry fee for Museum, Parks or Public beaches!

Shop for local treasures  -  Not a mall in sight! Brac crafts including Caymanite jewelry can be purchased at small stores such as NIM Things.

Look from the Lighthouse  -  Superb views of the Brac and the Caribbean Sea from the island's highest point, at its eastern end. Sunrise is especially magical. For contrast, try sunset at West End Point.

Taste great dining choices  -  Temptations from local "patties" at the local vendors to international cuisine at a resort restaurant.

Catch your favorite fish  -  Superb fly-casting for bone, tarpon and permit in the shallow flats. Deep-water options include wahoo, tuna and mahi-mahi- all excellent, with savvy local skippers ready to help.
